This picture is titled "A Smoke Angel from Airplane Flares " taken on August twenty second, this picture shows a natural formation of smoke when airpane flares over the Atlantic Ocean. The jet is a C-17 Globemaster III. The flares from these jets most of the time release smoke and in result comes out these "Angels" or "owls" whichever you prefer. The "eyes" of the angel are caused by air spirling off the planes wings; and are also known as wingtip vortices.
