Theactress got lots of compliments for her performance in the film. Aclose friend of Nandana revealed, "Her dad loved the film. It was agreat feeling for Nandana. Her father congratulated Ketan Mehta several times for making such classic. Nandana's father admired Ketan Mehta's for making a film that puts across a strong politicalstatement so relevant today's time. He also felt proud of Nandana and said that it was worth it flying down from China to watch the film.

Shilpa Shetty injured

Shilpa Shetty injured her wrist and has been advised a three-monthrest by her doctor. The actress has no clue as to what caused theinjury. "Either it happened because I was practising cartwheels for mynew action film or it could be because of the wear and tear thathappens in weight training," she says.Shilpa has found ways to camouflage the injury on screen. "Ill wear along sleeve top for Bigg Boss and I'll wear a fat kada for SunnyDeol's The Man."

39th Internationl Film Festival of India

The 39th Internationl Film Festival of India, Goa, will be held from November 22 to December 2. Every year, IFFI-Goa presents the section Film India Worldwide curated by Uma da Cunha. This year this section has five films, of which three are world premieres.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has successfully showcased, for the first time ever in India – TOYOTA CLASSICS, a cultural programme organized by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) worldwide, since 1990. The Toyota Classics concerts have raised funds for charitable organizations through performances by world renowned orchestras where the proceeds are donated to three or four pre-selected charitable organizations. Over a period of 17 years, there have been 141 concerts that have raised YEN 628 million (approximately Rs.30 crores) for 36 charities

across Asia.

The Vienna Operetta Orchestra Formed in 1989 by conductor Siegfried Andraschek, the orchestra is made up of leading Austrian musicians who are also active with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera. Although perhaps best known for its dramatic presentation of popular works from the Golden and Silver eras of Viennese operetta, the Orchestra has an exceptionally wide repertoire, and has done much to help audiences rediscover some of the less well-known works of the genre too. International solo artistes like Polish soprano Izabela Labuda and German tenor Michael Suttner will join the orchestra, under the skilled artistic direction and masterful conducting of Andraschek. The orchestra is widely acclaimed for its dramatic and engaging performances with romance, comedy, excitement and the musical beauty of Viennese operetta in full measure.

Akbar Khan's Taj is back and wow! After winning accolades and critical acclaim at the Damascus Film Fest where the Director's Cut of Taj Mahal – an Eternal Love story was showcased at the opening ceremony of the 'Special Indian Night', Akbar Khan's magnum opus is all set to make waves at the IFFI – India and the Cairo International Fest this month.
The film was also recently invited by the Govt. of Abu Dhabi for a special screening at the Al-Dhafra Theatre of Authority for Culture & Heritage, besides being selected by Dubai International Film Festival committee for a world premiere on Dec 11. Earlier, The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh who saw the film with his family presented a print of this film to the former President of Pakistan Gen. Parvez Musharraff for his viewing, as a gift from India. Taj has also been adorned by two Indian National Awards for best costumes and art direction by Hon'ble President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil. Besides Pooja Batra, Shawar Ali, Bunty Grewal, Ali, Praveen Sirohi, Yusuf Lakdawala with hosts Mariam Khan and Akbar Khan had a whale of a time.

Indian Idol 4

The top 14 contestants have also recorded their first original music track composed and directed by John Stewart and the lyrics by Irfan Siddiqui. The music video will be filmed by Sony Creative team. The fiery test is all set for these contestants and Indian Idol 4 has truly set the tone for yet another nationwide frenzy.

The coming weeks will see the contestants aspirating to reach the height of fame, fortune and love of the entire nation.

Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna is a story of two childhood friends with diverse backgrounds – one a zamindar and the other a mere farmer.
